The 9th ASIANIA FAI JUDGE TRAINING COURSE 2013 was successfully completed at Wuhan, China in conjunction with the 15th Asiania Parachuting Championships and China International Open.

Thanks are extended to the local organisers, Wuhan Sports Department and China ASFC for providing excellent facilities. Fifteen participants studied well under the direction of Chiefs of Judge Training, Style and Accuracy (Bob King, UK) and Formation Skydiving  Ray Williams (Australia). Two candidates from China successfully achieved the FAI Style standard, with two achieving  Asiania National standard. Three candidates from Australia, Korea and Uzbekistan successfully achieved the FAI Formation Skydiving standard, with six candidate achieving the Asiania National standard. Eleven  candidates successful passed the FAI  National Rating Accuracy standard. Four candidates achieved the Asiania National standard.

Next year Asiania will plan to conduct courses for Accuracy, Formation Skydiving and Canopy Formations.

FAI Judge Training Course Entry Fee is USD300 – covers 7 day approved FAI Judge Training Course commencing at 9 am on 26th, plus accomodation  and meals from the evening of 25th September through to  2nd October.  

All judges are encouraged to remain for the 15th Asiania Parachuting Championships and China Parachuting Open from 3rd – 13th October.

Championships Entry Fee is USD400 and  includes accomodation, meals, local transport, banquets plus the opportunity to gain important practical competition judging experience under supervision during the championships .

Judges will also have the opportunity for further  judging experience during the official Technical Judging Conference on the 3rd and 4th October, and to meet and work with the official FAI judging panels during their pre competition warm-up to ensure everyone is up to date.
